South Africa’s Department of Science and Innovation (DSI) is calling for an Expression of Interest (EOI) from South African SMEs who are interested in participating in the Korea Eureka Day.
The Korea-Eureka Day is an annual event that aims to facilitate the international technology cooperation network between South Korea and Eureka Network member countries, and to identify international joint research partners and collaborative projects between global academia and industry.
The event is hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, and organized by Korea Institute for Advancement Technology. The event will take place from 30 October 2023 to 1 November 2023 in Seoul, South Korea.
The first selection of South African participants will go through a South Africa-South Korea online match-making session scheduled for 17 August 2023.
The companies who successfully get matched to partners from the online session, will be shortlisted
and given an opportunity to work on a project outline prior the final selection for participation at the Korea Eureka Day.
Women and young scientists/innovators are encouraged to apply.
